Groups with Special Needs/Interests

Students with disabilities who wish to study abroad should contact the Disability Services office at UGA or in the case of learning disabilities, the Disability Resource Center at UGA. It is important to inform your study abroad program director of your need for accommodations as early as possible so that such accommodations can be arranged. Mobility International is another good resource. They provide information on international travel and study abroad programs for persons with disabilities.

Lesbian, gay and bisexual students should see the NAFSA Lesbigay Special Interest Group for resources that will be useful to them as they study abroad.
