To keep in touch with family and friends at home, as well as your academic advisor and our office, you can use your UGA e-mail or you can establish an e-mail account, such as a Gmail account, before going abroad. These accounts can be accessed from anywhere in the world from a computer hooked up to the internet by simply going to the Hotmail home page.

Please e-mail the Office of International Education to let us know what your e-mail address will be while you're abroad.

If your e-mail address will change while you are abroad, please make sure that you e-mail the OIE to let us know. We send out important information to our students who are abroad.
