Beverly is one of the newest members of the Education Abroad team at the OIE and primarily works with Incoming Exchange students as well as advising for UGA faculty-led programs. A native to Augusta, Georgia, she received her Master’s in Teaching from Augusta State University in 2011 where she also served as ASU’s Graduate Assistant. This began Beverly’s interest in International Education and she has since been involved with study abroad for nearly a decade having most recently served as the European Council Coordinator for the University System of Georgia. During her undergraduate time, she participated in several summer study abroad programs including trips to France, Spain, Costa Rica, Fiji, New Zealand, Australia and El Salvador. She hopes her next travels are to Norway or Tanzania!
